Meanwhile, Rob has developed himself into an allround freelance industrial

burton.elementz
The Burton Elementz is a low cost and economic kitcar based on a Citroën
2CV frame, and powered by the original two cylinder engine. To maximize
the performance and minimize the drag of this low powered platform, the
body is kept light and aerodynamical. A high dose of healthy adrenaline
is guaranteed by its extremely open design which will give the driver
a high speed feeling at relative low speeds. An integrated rollbar combines
modern safety with increased stiffness of the frame, this adds even more
sharpness to the sensational cornering capability of the original platform.
The ultimate fun ride for those who dare to face the elementz.

pda.casing
Tyre control unit for fast and accurate measurement of car- and trucktyres,
as used by Michelin. This unit receives and stores data from a measuring
instrument which determines the pressure and profile depth of the tyres.
The casing contains a Hewlett Packard H2200 palmtop, additional electronics
for wireless data receiving, an additional battery and a USB port to easily
transfer data to a desktop computer. The padded rotating arms ensure ergonomic
use of the touchscreen in different working situations. The rugged casing
is dust- and waterproof in conformance with the international IP54 standard
for carefree use in heavy outdoor conditions.
soap.dispenser
Patented dispensing system for high viscous fluids such as industrial
handcleansing gel. The system contains a wallmounted casing, an exchangeable
vacuum pump and a disposable 3 liter cartridge. To easily clean the system
and to guarantee functionality while using solvent-based cleansing gel,
the functional part of the pump can be exchanged within a second. This
system also allows a variety of pumps in the same casing, for example,
to realize a smaller dosing or a foamy substance. The disposable cartridge
contains a piston which empties the cartridge completely, fixing the problem
of the former square steel containers which could only be emptied half
by its dispenser. In addition, this system is more environmental friendly
and reduces packaging costs.
social.mobility
Study for motorized personal transportation, though entirely based on
existing technologies, such as frictionless lift and propulsion created
by a magnetic field. Stability is guaranteed by a drive-by-wire system
with gyroscopic sensors. The result is an extremely efficient and manoeuvrable
transportation device. Main target of this study was to create a compact,
light, economic and environment friendly transportation device where status
is provided by its progressive technology instead of plump mass and exorbitant
dimensions, which are in heavy conflict with the original goals of transportation:
freedom and mobility.

speedskiing.helmet
A skiing helmet for the World Cup Speedskiing, approved by the Fédération
Internationale de Ski (FIS). Speedskiing is the fastest of all snowsports,
as skiers can reach speeds up to 250km/h. This dual shelled helmet has
an aerodynamical carbonsandwich outershell and a kevlar safety innershell.
In the event the skier comes to a fall, the potentially dangerous outershell
will de-attach, while the innershell protects the skier’s head.
Since the helmet is responsible for the airflow over the rest of the skier's
body, the shape is extremely important to minimize the drag, and therefore
to maximize the topspeed. To maintain a fluent airflow, the ideal outline
has been determined within windtunnel tests.

Relax, lean back and don’t worry about wrinkled smokingpapers. This
compact and easy-to-use portable holder for your papers and filters will
prevent them from wrinkling. Ideal for festivals, sports, relaxing or
any other activity which can mess up your papers. They are available in
a whole range of colours and come with a lanyard for wearing it around
your neck, or clip it to your shirt or pants.
To minimize the price per product at mass production, there has been chosen
for plastic injection moulded parts, which also made it possible to give
the case a clear, jewel like look.
